Art Ensley- Managing Director
Art Ensley graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelors’ degree in Mineral Land Management. He held various land and business development positions with BP Exploration and related entities (Sohio Petroleum Company, Standard Oil Production Company, Tex/Con Oil & Gas) for 11 years. After leaving BP in 1991, Art and his wife Linda formed Ensley Properties, Inc. (EPI). Art was employed by Cody Energy, Inc. as Vice President of Acquisitions and Land. Through EPI, and as an employee of Cody, Art was a principal contributor to numerous transactions resulting in Cody’s asset foundation. Since the formation of EPI, Art has acted as the principal advisor for EPI clients in producing properties, acreage, drilling prospects and mid-stream asset transactions. He resides in Houston, Texas.

Jim Dewhirst- Marketing Manager
Jim Dewhirst graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1979 with bachelors’ degrees in Marketing and Management. He started his career with BP Exploration and held various positions including natural gas marketing and trading. After leaving BP in 1991, Jim was employed as an Account Executive with PG&E Resources Company. Jim was responsible for gas supply, gas and crude oil marketing and special projects. Since joining Ensley Properties, Inc. in 1995, Jim has been involved in numerous transactions totaling more than $500MM. Transactions have included acquisitions and divestitures of producing properties and gas gathering systems as well as marketing prospects. Jim resides in Houston, Texas.

John T. Gray - Engineering Manager
John T. Gray graduated from Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. He has 21 years experience in office supervision, field operations supervision, reservoir engineering and production engineering. John worked for major oil companies and independent oil companies as both a direct hire and a consultant involved in active exploration programs, development programs, waterflood monitoring, as well as working/nonworking interest owner operations. He has experience in primary oil and gas, secondary waterflood, tertiary CO2, horizontal drilling and remedial operations. He has spent most of his time working the Permian Basin, but has northern Michigan and onshore Gulf Coast operational experience as well. He has worked as an engineer or consultant for such firms as Union Oil Company of California, H. L. Brown, Jr., Penwell Energy, Inc., Chevron Corporation and David H. Arrington Oil and Gas. He resides in Midland, Texas.

Todd
A. Larsson - Operations Manager / Engineering
Technician
Todd Larsson graduated from the University of Illinois – Springfield with Honors with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematical Sciences in 1995. He began his career in the Petroleum Industry with Sipes, Williamson and Associates (now Williamson Petroleum Consultants), working as an Engineering Technician for six years. He was responsible for constructing reservoir analysis reports, fair market value assessments, and secondary and enhanced recovery studies. Todd joined Riviera Energy Corporation in 2007 as an Engineering Technician, became Operations Manager in 2008, and has participated in the designing, compiling, marketing and closing of numerous oil and gas Acquisitions and Divestitures since his arrival. He resides in Midland, Texas.

Rocky
Valdes- Engineering Technician
Rocky Valdes graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1976 and completed a Masters Degree in 2001 from Sul Ross State University. He served the Midland Independent School District as a classroom teacher and school administrator for 14 years. He also has 18 years of experience as a Petroleum Engineering Technician with Sipes, Williamson and Associates (now Williamson Petroleum Consultants) and T. Scott Hickman and Associates, two prominent reservoir engineering firms in Midland, Texas. His experience with those firms included the development of annual reserves reports, reserve evaluations for acquisitions and mergers, due diligence reports, secondary recovery studies and fair market value opinions. Valdes joined Riviera Energy Corporation in 2008 where he has participated in the publishing, marketing and closing of several oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures. He resides in Midland, Texas.

John Stephen (Steve) Guyton - Geologist
Steve has been involved in all aspects of the oil and
gas exploration and production business for the past 45
years. This has included the development of oil and gas
drilling prospects, production evaluation, lease purchase
negotiations, joint interest agreements, AFE preparation,
drilling operations, purchasing of third party services,
reserve estimation, lease operating expense review and
other functions related to geology, land, engineering
and corporate management.
Steve is an independent oil operator/consultant generating
prospects and raising drilling capital for various ventures.
Steve has been associated with Riviera Energy Corporation
for approximately the last 2 years. He has consulted and
worked with many companies over his career including:
Midland Resources, Banner Energy, Frio Gas Pipeline, L.C.,
Hanson Corporation, Dan A. Hughes Company, Great Western
Drilling Company, Coseka Resources, Richmond Petroleum
Company, and Quay Valley Inc. (formerly Highland Production
Company), Lyco Energy Corporation, Belcor (formerly Transierra
Exploration Company) as Vice President, Exploration, MGF
Oil Corporation as Vice President, Exploration, Champlin
Petroleum Company as Area Geologist, Texaco, Inc. as Exploration
Geologist, and Pennzoil Company (formerly Union Producing
Company) as a Geologist and Geological Scout.
Mr. Guyton attended Colgate University from 1955-1959
where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in June 1959.
He majored in Geology, and minored in Economics. He was
a member of ATO Fraternity, Manager of the Football team
and a member of the Junior Honor Society. Steve then went
on to attend the University of Michigan where he received
a Master of Science Degree in Geology in 1960.
Steve is a member of many professional affiliations such
as the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, South
Texas Geological Society, and the West Texas Geological
Society.

James E. Fulp
Jr.
- Webmaster / Marketing / Technical Support

Jim has over 20 years in the Texas oil and gas industry.
In 1975, Jim completed studies at New Mexico State University
in Las Cruces New Mexico. With minors in Geology and Electrical
Engr. He received a BA in Journalism, Mass Communications,
Photojournalism, Cinematography, Advertising and Television
Production. Jim also completed studies toward a Masters
Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology.
Previous experience includes, Production Manager of a
Custom, Commercial Photographic and Production Lab, Marketing
Manager for a Fortune 500 multi-media corporation. From
1995 to 1998 he served as VP-Corporate Development of
an Austin based independant Oil & Gas Company. In
1999 Jim founded Focus Digital Marketing Services and
is sole owner of the company.
Since 1989 Mr. Fulp has been involved full time, in the
funding, development, marketing and illustration of numerous
oil & gas drilling projects and oil & gas related
websites throughout the State of Texas and Oklahoma. As a consultant
his comprehensive understanding of the oil & gas industry
and marketing, is contributing to delivering Riviera's
message with Speed, Clarity, Accuracy and Impact !

Adam
Ray - IT Technician
Mr. Ray has 11 years of experience in the IT industry.
His first account involved resolving issues and developing
solutions for the current limitations of the Windows for
Workgroups 3.11 systems installed at Abell Junior High
School.
Mr. Ray chartered his first IT Company in 1999 that catered
to both home users and corporate accounts. Mr. Ray graduated
in May 2002 from Lee High School, located in Midland,
Texas. In late 2002 Mr. Ray departed from the Midland
market to attend the University of Texas at Austin, Aug
2002 - present. Mr. Ray is currently in the final stages
of completing his Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer
Science from UT at Austin.
While developing his current business as an independent
IT consultant Mr. Ray has specialized in the planning,
migrating, installation, and maintenance of Windows Server
2000 and Windows Server System 2003 based domain architectures.
A thorough knowledge of Active Directory allows him to
do this with the utmost of precision.
Mr. Ray takes great care at insuring his clients get the
utmost productivity from their IT investment. Mr. Ray
has been consulting with Riviera Energy Corporation since
April 2004.
